Earth Hour 2009

On Saturday March 28th it's time for Earth Hour again. 8:30PM to 9:30PM local time. For one hour you turn off your lights to vote for our Earth, leave them on and you vote for global warming.

It started in Sydney in 2007 and last year it involved the world. Now in 2009, even more will participate!

  1. Huhu.. I am going to partake in this event. Im also going to start bicycling to work in the summer. (saving both money for gas and mother nature, as well as adding to my health). I might even stop the bad habbit I have when it comes to my computer (I never turn it off). Are you going to start with some additional things?

  2. I don't know. I certainly can't take the bike to work, that'll be a short ride. And who rides a bike inside the house? I turn off my computer every night. Unless I have an important download. I've turned off the stationary computer though! But that's just to save it from viruses:P
    I really need to stop letting the car run when I wait for the train. I can turn off the TV when I sit with the computer, instead of just muting it... Other than that, I think I do an okay job:)

    Anyone else?
