Fredrikstad, Verdens Tavler and life

It's been a while since last post. So here is what's been going on:

April 30th, Marion, Ragnhild and I went down to Fredrikstad to visit Ann-Marie. It was an interesting drive down, it was a long weekend because of May 1st. It was incredibly hot in the car and the traffic was unbelievable! I was supposed to pick up Ragnhild in Lillestrøm and then get Marion at her work on Rasta. By the time I reached Arena, it was full stop. From Arena to the trainstation it takes 3 minutes, this took 10-15, if I remember correctly. It was okay traffic from Lillestrøm to Rasta, but after we got out on the highway again, it was chaos a long long long way. On a normal day, driving from Lillestrøm to Fredrikstad takes 1 1/2 hours, this took 2 1/2 hours!! Luckily Ann-Marie had tacos and cold beverage ready for us when we arrived. (Except for corn for the taco, we had to stop at Østfoldhallen to buy it, and we kinda got lost inside the center...)

It was a great weekend, except for my stupid back. During the first night I slept on a 2 centimetres thick mattress. I slept very good that night, but throughtout the day on Friday, my back became more and more stupid. When I tried to get out of the car when we arrived in Sweden, I could hardly get out. Then I could hardly walk, and I looked pretty much like a pregnant 90 year old.

So we were in Sweden on Friday, and spent too much money. Then we had some fun playing badminton in Ann-Marie's back yard. The rackets were horrible, the ball-thingy got stuck in the racket's net. It was good for my back though, playing. On Saturday we went shopping on different malls around in Fredrikstad. And that evening we went to see Wolverine:

^ I wanna marry him.... Sigh....

^ Look at that...

See the trailer here at YouTube, but I swear, the trailer doesn't do the movie justice.
On Sunday we watched the tree other movies in the X-men series, played more badminton and then went home.

This Friday, it was time for Verdens Tavler. Tine's photoclass opened their exhibition called Verdens Tavler. It's in Østbanehallen near Ica if anyone wants to go see it. It was really nice, interesting to see how life is for school children in the 6 countries they've been in. After the exhibition we went to Aker Brygge to eat, with Tine's family and some friends.

We have a stupid project at school now, video project. It's just to make a video of whatever we want, 3-5 minutes long. It's so stupid, I'm not even gonna start. But it's just this upcoming week left on the project. Then after that it's a week where we can do mostly what we want, and then the great big exam. 4 weeks of hell. Lots more to do this year, with database and all that extra stuff. But I guess it'll be allright. I'm not hoping for an A like I got on the last exam, but I know I won't fail at least! :P

Hmm, I have a lot more to say, but I think I'll save that for another post. Tomorrow maybe, or later tonight.

  1. Good luck on your exams, im sure that you are going to ace these ones too. You could make the video.... Maybe a video of the grass growing.... I can see this funny ending after watching grass do nothing for 3 minutes... "Did you see anything? No? Me neither...THE END" lol... But then again I have a weird sence of humour.

  2. Thanks! I need some luck!
It's the video where we drove around in Oslo. But your suggestion is a good one. Maybe even better than the one we thought about early in the project, show a timeline that counts up to 5 minutes, and that's it!
