The new one-shot

I've now posted my very first one-shot! It's called Until Next Time, which is not the title I had originally planned for it to have, that was We Have To Stop Meeting In This Fashion.

The story is a smutty Remus/OC, coming it at around 3000 words. I am currently working on finding a beta-reader for it, as this can be some kind of a trial chapter to find a beta-reader for Lunar Phases.

I would have liked to have written more, but it's bloody hot here, so I need to get away before I melt away. So go read!

More ideas!

Or rather... One idea. The other night I got an idea for a one-shot. Don't worry, this will not end up like A Wolf's Soul. This is a one-shot, and nothing more, nothing less. It's a very... hmm... hot one-shot. I'm about half-way through it, 1.344 words right now.

I won't tell you the title, partly because I'm not quite sure I like the title, and partly because the one I have right now might give too much away. But it's a Remus/OC, of course. First person point of view, set during Order of the Phoenix, and it's hot hot hot hot!

I'm trying to make it so the OC can be anyone you want, an OC, Tonks, Hermione, Ginny, Emmeline, or even McGonagall if that is what makes your boat float. Not so successful at the moment, but I'm not prioritizing that, the priority is making it a good one-shot. So keep your eyes open. I'll post it on HPFF, FF.Net and Sycophant Hex. Maybe even AFF. The HPFF one will need to be less hot though, because of the Terms of Service. But that's okay.

Now, enough talking about it. I got to go write. (I'm not abandoning Lunar Phases for this one-shot, I'm just struggling a bit with putting some pieces of chapter 3 together.)

^People sleeping out for days to get a good spot for the world premiere of Deathly Hallows Part 2. They got a red wristband. Everyone who didn't get one were worse than shit to the security people. Worst part was that over half of the people there had gotten there early, gotten their wristbands and then gone home or back to the hotels, only to come back on the premiere day. Not fair at all.

Back from London, and Fredrikstad!

I'm now back from London, and Fredrikstad!

London was amazing! Got to see a couple of Harry Potter-stars, did some shopping, discovered a few new places, and had fun with lovely friends. We were supposed to get home on Sunday, but before we left, we decided to stay in Fredrikstad so we could see Deathly Hallows Part 2 together. So while Karine and Heidi went back as planned (they had work the next day), Marion, Ragnhild and I stayed with Ann-Marie and JP. I'll post more details tomorrow, when I have all the pictures in place and have had a good night's sleep in my own bed. I've gotten a head cold, so my energy level's a bit low. And I'm having some trouble getting the pictures on my phone onto my laptop...

Inspired to write

You will be happy to know that I've now started writing on Lunar Phases again. I didn't start exactly on July 1st as I planned, but I started on July 2nd. Read through and did some changes to chapter 1 so they reflect my chapter-by-chapter overview. The next day I did chapter 2. And earlier today I did what I had so far on chapter 3, which I think was about half. Now I'm writing the rest of chapter 3. I won't be able to finish it before I leave tomorrow (more on that later in this post), but I'm taking my notebooks with me, and I got Word on my phone, so no worries.

I have 9 chapters planned out, and has started planning the 10th. Which means I have one Hogwarts school year planned out, well October 8th to 1st of September next year. I'm excited about writing again. All this planning has given me a greater feeling for my characters, OCs and canons. And I get them now, I have a sense of who they are and what they would do in most situations. That was the problem before, I didn't really have them engraved in my mind as I did with my characters in Spell? Curse? Hex? Potion? and Antidote: True Love. A Wolf's Soul was different, because it was therapeutic, and the main OC wasn't developed, because I wanted her to be anyone the reader wanted her to be. Which helped in making the story therapeutic, because I could picture myself in the role while writing, without making her a Mary-Sue or a Self-Inserted character.

Anyway, onto other news. I'm going to London on Wednesday! I'm going to Fredrikstad tomorrow, and then the seven of us is going to London! It's mainly because of the Harry Potter world premier, but it's going to be nice to have a vacation, take a break from reality and just be with my loveable friends in a completely different place than home for a few days. And I can't wait to sit and write while the other girls get ready in the morning. I've done some of my best writing while in London, more specifically most of the end of Antidote: True Love. And I did some good writing on A Wolf's Soul while in Orlando, could have done better if we'd have time to sit down and relax.

By the way, I've started posting A Wolf's Soul on Sycophant Hex's Lumos archives. I'm not sure how succesfull I'll be, since it seems like they are very strict with language and grammar and plot and all that. But I've given it a try. Here's my profile, I'll put it up under links if I'm validated.

Now, off to write a little bit more, do some backup and then go to sleep.

EDIT: Chapter 1 of A Wolf's Soul is now up on my Sycophant Hex Lumos profile. There were some changes I needed to do, but it was validated nonetheless. I did the changes, saved the e-mail and plan to incorporate the changes on the other sites I've posted it as well. Hopefully it will go just as smoothly posting the rest of the story. I'm getting a beta reader for Lunar Phases of course :)
